In 1993, Jill graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage receiving a BA degree in Art with emphasis in illustration. From 1987 until 2002 Jill worked in the retail industry as a visual merchandiser, including 6 years as display manager with Nordstrom. In 2002 Jill started her own company as an independent designer and in 2007 became a co-owner in
Red Carrot Design.
