These African American architect pioneers set the foundation for many building and structural designs in the United States of America. Projects such as schools, fire stations, park structures and municipal buildings, provided community-friendly spaces for citizens to work, learn and recreate. While some of these architectural projects are gone. Others are still standing and continue to be important assets in our everyday lives.
