Jill began her career in retail. After graduating with a degree in art from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 1993. During that time, she worked as manager of the visual merchandising department at Nordstrom in Anchorage. Jill was responsible for overseeing the entire visual experience including managing a full-time staff and seasonal stylists during the holiday season.
Jill decided to branch out and start her own interior decorating business in 2002. Five years later, she formed Red Carrot Design with her husband Cary.
Today, Jill continues to offer independent interior decorating services to residential and small business clientele. Her unique talent and eye for style helps them to envision beautiful functional spaces, find pieces that fit their design budgets, and create homes and offices that truly inspire.
Jill is a professional member of Certified Interior Decorators International (CID).
