Since my career began in the early ’90s, I’ve had a passion for style—textiles, patterns, and color. So during and after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage, I spent years in visual merchandising doing window display, store layout, and fashion styling. And as the department manager at Nordstrom in Anchorage, Alaska, I oversaw the store’s visual experience and supervised full and part-time staff. That was some fun!

In 2002, I started my own interior decorating business after my husband, and I had a custom home built for us. I have grown up around construction all my life, but I was obsessed with all the design details! Five years later, my husband and I, Cary, launched Red Carrot Design, Inc.

In 2006, I became a core practitioner of Feng Shui, a placement art form based on safety and security that adds to my interior specialization. Along with my love of fabric, color, and fashion, I continue to use my talents and expertise to cultivate beautiful, functional spaces for our clients.
