Cary King brings over twenty years of experience as a creative leader and visual strategist to Arizona’s West Valley. As Creative Director of Red Carrot Design, Cary directs the firm’s brand and marketing, ensuring the company remains “Stylish and Singular.”

His career centers on high-level art direction and turning complex brand missions into compelling storytelling. Cary first led creative efforts for top advertising agencies in Anchorage, Alaska. In 2002, he launched his own firm. By 2007, he had teamed up with his wife, Jill, blending his creativity with her interior decorating talents to build what is now Red Carrot Design, Inc.

A Strategic Shift Toward In-House Branding & Creative Exploration

In August 2023, Cary shifted his professional career to focus solely on the firm’s in-house corporate marketing and visual branding. This change allows him to pursue personal creative projects—including design, photography, and visual expression—while he continues to guide the strategic tone and expert aesthetic of the brand Red Carrot Design.

Leadership & Community in Arizona

Cary’s dedication to design excellence matches his commitment to mentorship and community growth. He holds a BFA and has a long history of professional leadership, including roles as adjunct instructor at the University of Alaska and as Founder and President Emeritus of AIGA Alaska.

Today, Cary is an active parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Sun City West, AZ, where he volunteers. He is also a Fourth-Degree member and website advisor for the Knights of Columbus Council 11809. This role further anchors Red Carrot Design as a trusted local business in the Northwest Valley.
