Designing a Teen Bedroom Sanctuary requires a delicate balance between a child’s playfulness and an adult’s need for organization. This project focuses on creating a personalized, vibrant space that encourages individual expression while maintaining a cohesive, stylish look.
The SASS-y Solution
Stylish: We moved away from “themed” rooms toward a vibrant, eclectic aesthetic. By using bold colors in replaceable accents (like pillows and rugs), the room remains Stylish as the teen’s tastes evolve.
Approachable: The space is designed to be lived in. With cozy textures and an Approachable lounge area, it’s a place where friends feel welcome, and the teen feels at ease.
Supportive: We addressed the need for a Supportive study zone. By integrating a functional desk and ergonomic chair into the layout, the room supports both academic focus and relaxation.
Singular: The occupant’s singular personality is highlighted through a custom “gallery wall” feature that rotates art and photos reflecting their unique journey.
