Desert Modern Makeover: Superstition Mountain

This semi-Spanish home in the Superstition Mountain Golf Community started as a blank canvas, filled only with the homeowner’s cherished pieces. We embraced our signature No Sledgehammer approach, honoring the existing wall color while introducing painted ceilings, dark beams, and modern lighting. By adding open shelving and thoughtful enhancements, we elevated the light and flow, transforming the space into a vibrant, tranquil sanctuary that feels both comfortable and uniquely personal.

With the visual transformation in place, we guided the design using our SASS-y philosophy, ensuring every detail reflected our four core principles:

Stylish: We brought each room to life with bold design choices, from vibrant wallpapers and custom-painted ceilings to oversized gold chandeliers that add a touch of modern elegance.

Approachable & Supportive: We created an inviting atmosphere with plush seating, soft velvet coverlets, and thoughtfully designed work and relaxation zones. Every detail was chosen to make daily living feel seamless, comfortable, and joyful.

Singular: Every design is a reflection of the homeowner’s story. For this client, we celebrated a love of maps with topographic-print wallpaper in the lounge and styled the living room shelves with fabric-covered books, each one personalized to honor their unique journey.
